Q: How UBER Payroll works? 

A: We don’t work on commission basis as other Umbrella companies does, we charge £25.00 + VAT flat rate whatever your earning is.

Q: How do we pay?

A: We pay as a BACS into your Limited, sole trading or personal account depending how you want us to pay after deducting £25.00 + VAT from your gross pay on the same day.

For example: Your agreed limited rate is £15.00/hour (£15*36 hours = £540.00- £25.00+VAT=£510.00). The total amount you will receive is £510.00 per week.

Q: How can one avoid IR 35 Legislation?

A: It’s very simple, soon you register with us you will be outside IR35 Legislation, because you will get paid through UBER Payroll LTD, not from your agency or your employer,

we will collect you wages from the agency and pay you after deducting our commission therefore you will be out the fold of IR35 legislation.

Q: How to claim our commission back?

A: Whenever you do your tax return, you can claim back as an expense amount you paid to us. This is only for Limited or sole trading clients.

Q: How to register with us?

A: Here are the steps you will take if you join a UBER Payroll Ltd:

1. Once you have secured a contract role, signs a contract with your recruitment agency.

2. You will also sign a contract of employment with the UBER Payroll Ltd.

3. Once you have completed a pre-agreed time period on site, you complete a timesheet and pass it on to your manager to sign.

4. Submit your timesheet to both your recruitment agency, and umbrella, showing how many hours you worked that week / month.

5. The umbrella company will invoice the recruitment agency, which subsequently bills the end-client.

6. Once the umbrella company receives payment from the agency, they can prepare your payroll.

Q: For non limited or sole trading clients?

A: UBER Payroll will process your payroll, and pay you a salary, following deductions for taxes (income tax + National Insurance), the our fee (£25.00 + VAT),

and any other deductions (for pension contributions, for example) .We will also reimburse you for any allowable expenses you have claimed.
